Operating Room Nurse (Full-time, Day Shift)

About the role

We are seeking two full‑time Operating Room Nurses to join the pediatric orthopedic team at Shriners Hospitals for Children – Canada. The positions are day‑shift (Monday‑Friday) and involve providing peri‑operative nursing care to children undergoing orthopedic surgery.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care in the operating room for pediatric orthopedic procedures.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure a safe and efficient surgical environment.
• Maintain patient and family‑centered care throughout the peri‑operative period.

Required profile

• College diploma in nursing or a Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
• Minimum of one (1) year experience working in an operating room.
• Member in good standing of the Ordre des infirmières et infirmiers du Québec (OIIQ).
• Bilingual – fluent in French and English, both spoken and written.

Required skills

• Peri‑operative care certification (asset).
• Experience in acute care and orthopedic settings (asset).
