Oil & Lube Service Field Technician

About the role

We are seeking a reliable Oil & Lube Service Field Technician to join our team in Sherwood Park. You will operate our 2‑ton service and lube truck, providing on‑site maintenance for construction equipment and fleet vehicles.

Key responsibilities

• Operate a 2‑ton service and lube truck, driving a standard‑transmission vehicle.
• Perform on‑site oil and filter changes, equipment greasing, and fluid level checks.
• Replace wear parts and carry out minor mechanical repairs.
• Record all work in the company’s asset management software.
• Work independently in various outdoor conditions, including overtime and weekend shifts as needed.

Required profile

• Valid Class 5 driver’s licence (or higher) with a clean driving record.
• Ability to pass a medical/fitness exam.
• Proven experience as a lube/service technician or equivalent training.
• Experience maintaining construction equipment and trucks.
• Capability to work outdoors in diverse weather conditions.

Required skills

• Oil and filter change procedures.
• Equipment greasing and fluid level monitoring.
• Minor mechanical repair techniques.
• Operation of a service and lube truck.
• Use of asset management software for record‑keeping.
