About the role

We are seeking a qualified Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our team in Surrey, BC, focusing on developmental disorders, pediatrics, and intellectual disabilities. The role involves assessing clients, designing treatment plans, and contributing to health promotion initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze clients' capabilities and expectations related to life activities through observation, interviews, and formal assessments.
• Consult and advise on health promotion programs to prevent disabilities and maximize independent function.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment programs.
• Evaluate treatment progress and adjust plans as needed.
• Maintain comprehensive clinical and progress reports.
• Conduct research in occupational therapy.

Required profile

• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Licensure by provincial or territorial authorities.
• 1–2 years of relevant experience.
• Experience working with developmental disorders, pediatrics, or intellectual disabilities.
