Nurse RPN – Casual with Weekends

About the role

Join V!VA Retirement Communities as a casual Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) working flexible weekday, evening and weekend shifts. You will support the wellness of senior community members in a non‑clinical, residential setting, providing compassionate care and responding to emergency calls.

Key responsibilities

• Assist community members with personal needs such as dressing, mobility, bathing, food service and laundry.
• Distribute and dispense prescribed medications and narcotics safely.
• Conduct wellness assessments and monitor ongoing health status of residents.
• Document findings in communication binders and report to the Wellness Manager.
• Maintain confidentiality and privacy of resident information.
• Collaborate with the Wellness Manager to address resident needs and support prospective members.

Required profile

• Licensed RPN in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
• Available for flexible hours, including weekdays, evenings and weekends.
• Experience working in a retirement or senior‑care environment is preferred.
