Associate Dentist

About the role

We are seeking an Associate Dentist to join our private practice in Shediac. The role involves diagnosing dental diseases, examining patients, and providing comprehensive dental care.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose dental diseases.
• Examine patients' teeth, gums and surrounding tissue.
• Instruct patients on oral hygiene.
• Plan dental health treatment.
• Restore, extract and replace diseased and decayed teeth.
• Perform oral surgery, periodontal surgery and other treatments.
• Write fabrication instructions or prescriptions for denturists and dental technicians.

Required profile

• Degree in medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine or optometry.
• National Dental Examining Board of Canada Certification.
• 1 to less than 7 months of relevant experience.
• Eligible for professional liability insurance.
• Valid driver’s licence.
• Personal suitability: accurate and efficient interpersonal skills.
