North America Regional Facilities Manager

About the role

Amazon Worldwide Operations is seeking a Regional Facilities Manager to lead both hard (building assets and infrastructure) and soft (janitorial, waste, pest control, snow removal) services across North American fulfillment centers. The role drives strategic and tactical projects, ensures compliance and safety, and partners with senior leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure base building maintenance and soft services meet network standards, minimizing downtime.
• Collaborate with OEMs and SMEs to manage cost drivers and mitigation strategies.
• Provide tools and technical leadership to site facilities leads, measuring performance via KPIs and SLAs.
• Act as escalation point for safety, quality, and service downtime incidents.
• Coordinate with Field RME, Procurement, Finance and other stakeholders to drive improvements.
• Analyze service and asset performance data to identify improvement opportunities.
• Support rollout of process changes, technology deployments, and sustainability initiatives.
• Develop and lead pilot programs ahead of regional rollouts.
• Manage multiple complex projects simultaneously while influencing senior leadership.
• Travel to operational sites up to 50% of the time.

Required profile

• Proven experience in facilities management, overseeing both hard and soft services.
• Strong project management and cross‑functional coordination abilities.
• Excellent communication and executive presentation skills.
• Ability to influence senior leaders and drive change.
• Willingness to travel extensively across North America.
