Night Shift Road Foreman – Abbotsford

About the role

Emil Anderson Maintenance is looking for a Night Shift Road Foreman to lead a crew in the Fraser Valley from our Abbotsford yard. You will plan and supervise year‑round road maintenance, ensuring safety, quality and timely completion of work.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and supervise a crew of trade personnel to deliver high‑quality road work.
• Plan, schedule and coordinate field operations, assign tasks, manage equipment and materials, and monitor progress.
• Conduct regular site inspections to verify compliance with safety regulations, quality standards and contract requirements.
• Develop and implement traffic‑management plans for all work activities.
• Operate equipment when needed and interpret weather reports to adjust operational responses.
• Participate in incident investigations and respond to after‑hours or on‑call duties during snow events or emergencies.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years experience at the MO4 level or higher, with supervisory experience considered an asset.
• Working knowledge of the Highway Act, Motor Vehicle Act, WSBC Health and Safety Regulations and road‑bridge maintenance procedures.
• Valid Canadian Class 3 driver’s licence with air‑brake endorsement and a clean abstract.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends, holidays and be on‑call during snow events.
• Valid Occupational First Aid Level 1 (asset) and ability to operate equipment safely.
