Night Shift Quality Control Technician

About the role

Join One Degree Organic Foods as a Night Shift Quality Control Technician and help ensure that every product meets regulatory, internal, and customer standards. You will work overnight in a fast‑growing organic food environment, supporting both raw ingredient and finished‑product quality.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor quality standards of finished products and raw ingredients entering and leaving the warehouse.
• Communicate QC expectations and provide GMP training to employees.
• Conduct QA tests to verify product specifications.
• Maintain compliance with BRC, HACCP, GMP, SSOP, and related hold/release procedures.
• Ensure product traceability by verifying lot numbers and documentation.
• Perform inspections (pre‑operation, ingredient, shipping & receiving) and support other QA roles as needed.
• Analyze data, investigate issues, recommend corrective actions, and provide flexible shift coverage.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in a science‑related field (asset).
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Willingness to work flexible night‑shift schedules.
• Previous experience in a food production environment and knowledge of GMP/Good Lab Practices are nice‑to‑have.
• Valid driver’s license preferred.
