About the role
Manitoulin Transport, which operates an extensive transportation network across North America, is hiring a part-time night dock worker in North Bay. The role covers loading and unloading trailers, handling freight and yard work, and includes holiday coverage and weekend shifts.
Key responsibilities
- Loading and unloading inbound and outbound trailers
- Distributing freight to P&D drivers
- Documenting overages, shortages and damages
- Reweighing and cubing freight
- General cleaning of the yard and warehouse
- Some lifting required
Required profile
- Valid driver's licence
- Ability to work well with others and take direction
- Able to think on your feet in a fast-paced environment and solve problems as they arise
- Willingness to cover holidays and weekends
Required skills
- Forklift experience
- Ability to follow health and safety and company policies
