Night Auditor

About the role

The Night Auditor is a key member of the Front Office team at a busy airport hotel, handling overnight operations from 11 pm to 7:30 am. You will ensure guest accounts are accurate, balance revenues, and provide excellent guest service during the night shift.

Key responsibilities

• Process all guest check‑ins and check‑outs, verify reservations, assign rooms, and issue keys.
• Enter rewards information, enroll new members, and handle all payment types (cash, checks, debit, credit).
• Balance end‑of‑day accounts, review cash drops, and prepare daily financial reports.
• Respond to guest inquiries, resolve issues, and follow up on satisfaction.
• Maintain shift logs, document pertinent information, and communicate with other departments as needed.
• Count and balance tills at shift start and end, and drop receipts according to accounting specifications.
• Perform light cleaning duties in the lobby and front entrance.
• Operate the hotel shuttle safely and follow all safety and company policies.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year experience as a Guest Service Agent or similar role.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• First Aid certification is an asset.
• Professional communication skills with guests, team members, and management.
• Ability to follow credit and cash handling procedures and protect guest information.
• Willingness to work flexible evenings, weekends, and holidays.
