National Account Manager

About the role

Our client, a fast‑growing consumer packaged goods company, is seeking a National Account Manager to lead key retail relationships across Canada and the United States. You will be responsible for driving growth, profitability, and distribution expansion for a category‑leading brand.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and grow national retail and distributor relationships across major accounts.
• Own sales planning, forecasting, budgeting, and account profitability.
• Lead negotiations on pricing, promotions, and commercial agreements.
• Drive distribution growth, product launches, and in‑store execution initiatives.
• Partner with sales, marketing, and operations teams to support growth objectives.
• Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and customer opportunities.

Required profile

• 5+ years of account management experience in the CPG industry.
• Strong experience managing national retail accounts and distributor relationships.
• Deep understanding of grocery, convenience, and retail sales environments.
• Commercial acumen with experience owning forecasts, budgets, and sales plans.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
• Comfort operating in fast‑paced, high‑growth environments with strong ownership.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business or equivalent senior sales and management experience.
