MOSAIC Research Coordinator

About the role

The Division of Cardiology at UBC is seeking a highly motivated Research Coordinator to support the MOSAIC study, a provincial initiative that integrates echocardiography, genomics and artificial intelligence to improve cardiovascular risk prediction. The role is primarily onsite across four Vancouver hospitals, with the possibility of one remote workday per week.

Key responsibilities

• Recruit and enroll study participants, obtain informed consent, and schedule laboratory and clinical visits.
• Coordinate data collection, sample processing, and imaging procedures across multiple hospital sites.
• Ensure compliance with ethical standards, regulatory requirements, and study protocols.
• Maintain accurate study documentation, databases, and reporting tools.
• Communicate regularly with principal investigators, clinical teams, sponsors, and regulatory bodies.

• Effective interpersonal and communication skills for interacting with participants and multidisciplinary teams.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and meet tight timelines.
