Mill Operator – 5x5x4 Schedule – $45.80/hr

About the role

Discovery Silver is seeking a Mill Operator to join its Timmins‑area milling operation. The role works on a 5‑day on/5‑day off, 4‑hour shift schedule and offers an hourly rate of $45.80.

Key responsibilities

• Operate utility systems, primary and secondary crushing equipment, and grinding circuits.
• Run the Carbon‑In‑Pulp (CIP) circuit and monitor its performance.
• Manage the effluent treatment plant in accordance with environmental standards.
• Follow shift‑rotation procedures and safety protocols.

Required profile

• Secondary school diploma (or equivalent).
• 2‑3 years of cumulative experience in mill operations.
• Successful completion of utility, crushing, grinding, CIP and effluent treatment training modules.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes.
