Merchandising Associate – Part‑time (Temporary)

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Merchandising Associate to work on a short‑term contract at a gas‑station location in Keremeos. The role is ideal for someone with prior merchandising experience who thrives in a fast‑paced retail environment and can make an immediate impact.

Key responsibilities

• Planogram execution: accurately merchandise planograms to ensure shelves are visually appealing and products are correctly placed.
• Pricing & labeling: create and install price labels to ensure accurate product information.
• Stocking & product placement: fill planograms with products from the backroom, ensuring shelves are fully stocked and organized.
• Inventory management: monitor stock levels, identify low inventory, and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Retail basics: perform essential tasks such as stocking, facing, and maintaining shelf presentation standards.
• Policy adherence: follow all company and store policies to ensure a safe and professional working environment.
• Professional presentation: maintain a polished appearance, including wearing the uniform and name tag.
• Support tasks: assist with other duties as required to support store operations.

Required profile

• Previous merchandising experience (required).
• Physical stamina to lift 30‑40 lb comfortably.
• Availability for the full duration of the short‑term contract.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
