Account Manager – Mandatory Travel

About the role

Scandinavian Building Services is seeking an Account Manager (mandatory travel) to oversee a portfolio of 37 retail and commercial cleaning sites across Saskatchewan. The role involves frequent travel to locations such as Regina, Saskatoon, North Battleford and others, with core business hours of 6 am‑2:30 pm and the flexibility to work from home when not on site.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct regular site visits to ensure safety, cleanliness and customer service standards are met.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and store managers, addressing complaints promptly.
• Manage hourly cleaning staff and subcontractors, handling scheduling, hiring, training, performance reviews and disciplinary actions.
• Report daily operations and site performance to the Regional Director.

Required profile

• 2‑3 years of experience in a supervisory or managerial position.
• Valid driver’s license in good standing.
• Excellent customer service skills and strong verbal and written English communication.
• Ability to lead teams, work under pressure and adapt to a fast‑paced environment.
• Willingness to learn the cleaning industry.
