Medical Radiation Technologist (Temporary Full-Time)

About the role

Join Groves Memorial Community Hospital as a Medical Radiation Technologist, delivering high‑quality diagnostic imaging care while supporting the Wellington Health Care Alliance mission. Key responsibilities

• Apply your MRT expertise to provide safe, accurate imaging services for patients.
• Mentor and supervise students on clinical placements.
• Adhere to WHCA core values and hospital policies.
• Participate in on‑call and standby duties as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

Required profile

• Current CMRITO designation.
• Membership with CAMRT; OAMRT is an asset.
• CT and mammography experience are assets (training provided).
• Strong teamwork, communication, and organizational abilities.
• Ability to prioritize competing demands and meet physical job requirements.
• Successful reference, police vulnerable sector check, and pre‑employment health assessment.

Required skills

• CMRITO certification
• CAMRT membership
• CT imaging proficiency (or willingness to be trained)
• Mammography proficiency (or willingness to be trained)
• OAMRT (optional)
