About the role
One full‑time Medical Laboratory Technologist position is available at Groves Memorial Community Hospital within the Laboratory Department. The role supports patient care by performing a range of laboratory analyses and ensuring safety and quality standards.
Required profile
- Current registration with the College of Medical Laboratory Technologists of Ontario
- Experience in Chemistry, Hematology, Transfusion Medicine and Phlebotomy
- Demonstrated knowledge and sound judgment regarding patient and staff safety
- Superior communication, team‑building, technology and organizational abilities
- Ability to prioritize and manage conflicting demands
- Capacity to work independently and collaboratively with diverse internal and external stakeholders
- Knowledge of and compliance with IQMH and Lab Licensing Standards
- Successful completion of reference checks, police vulnerable sector check and pre‑employment health assessment
