Mechanical Design Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to join our automotive manufacturing team in Windsor. The position focuses on designing plastic components using advanced CAD tools while supporting our sustainability initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop detailed 3‑D models and drawings of plastic parts for automotive applications.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure designs meet performance, cost, and environmental targets.
• Perform design reviews, iterate concepts, and validate prototypes.
• Maintain design documentation and adhere to company engineering standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology or a related field.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in mechanical design within an automotive manufacturing environment.
• Experience working with plastic materials and a commitment to green engineering practices.
• Ability to work in a hybrid setting, balancing on‑site collaboration with remote tasks.
