Mechanical Assembler

About the role

We are looking for a Mechanical Assembler to join our production team in Québec. You will work on a noisy, dusty shop floor assembling mechanical components into sub‑assemblies and finished products, while following safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical parts into sub‑assemblies.
• Fit and install prefabricated parts to create sub‑assemblies or final products.
• Position, align and adjust components for proper fit.
• Connect cables, tubes and wires as required.
• Fasten parts using appropriate fastening and joining equipment.
• Perform minor adjustments and repairs to ensure functionality.

Required profile

• Secondary (high school) graduation certificate.
• 1 to less than 2 years of experience in mechanical assembly.
• Ability to work in a noisy and dusty environment.
• Willingness to work early‑morning, morning, day or evening shifts.
• Interest in on‑the‑job training tailored for youth.

Required skills

• Mechanical assembly techniques.
• Operation of fastening and joining equipment.
• Alignment and adjustment of mechanical parts.
• Connection of cables, tubes and wires.
• Basic troubleshooting and minor repairs.
