Materials Engineering Grader – Fall 2026

About the role

The Mining and Materials Engineering department at McGill University is hiring up to 15 Materials Engineering Graders for the Fall 2026 semester. Graders support undergraduate courses by evaluating student work, maintaining grading records, and providing timely feedback.

Key responsibilities

• Grade assignments, exams, and laboratory reports for designated courses.
• Maintain accurate grading records and submit results to the course instructor.
• Hold regular office hours to answer student questions and clarify concepts.
• Assist the instructor with preparation of course materials and assessment tools.
• Ensure consistent application of grading rubrics and university policies.

Required profile

• Current McGill University student in good standing.
• Residence in the province of Quebec.
• Availability for the full term: August 31 – December 18, 2026.
• Completed relevant coursework in materials engineering or related fields.
• Ability to work on‑site in Montreal.
