Marketing Specialist, Quebec and French Canada

About the role

The Canadian Cancer Society is seeking a Marketing Specialist focused on Quebec and French‑Canada to ensure all French‑language marketing is clear, accurate and aligned with the brand. You will work closely with internal teams, translation partners and external agencies to deliver French‑language campaigns that resonate with audiences across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the brand steward for French‑language marketing, ensuring all materials follow CCS brand guidelines, tone and visual standards.
• Review and approve a wide range of French marketing assets, including emails, direct mail, digital content, advertising, collateral and templates.
• Partner with the translation team to resolve feedback and guarantee high‑quality final output.
• Identify risks, inconsistencies or gaps in messaging and communicate them to the Senior Marketing Manager.
• Support the optimisation of French‑language review processes and workflows.
• Assist in the development and execution of integrated French‑language advertising campaigns across fundraising, mission and brand priorities.
• Adapt national campaigns for relevance to Quebec and French‑Canada audiences.
• Coordinate and traffic creative assets, manage internal approvals and ensure timely campaign set‑ups.

Required profile

• Strong command of written French with an eye for brand‑consistent language.
• Experience reviewing and approving marketing communications.
• Ability to collaborate with cross‑functional teams, translation partners and external agencies.
• Detail‑oriented mindset with a focus on consistency and quality.
• Proactive approach to process improvement and risk identification.
