Manufacturing Engineering Manager

About the role

The Manufacturing Engineering Manager leads the facility’s engineering, maintenance, and cleaning & coatings teams to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable operations. This senior role drives continuous improvement, supports new product introductions, and collaborates with cross‑functional corporate initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead manufacturing engineering and maintenance teams, ensuring compliance with corporate standards and proper handling of Engineering Change Orders.
• Maintain facility readiness through preventive maintenance, TPM programs, and equipment upgrades.
• Drive operational performance by implementing Lean tools such as 5S, Value Stream Mapping, and setup reduction.
• Manage staffing, hiring, training, performance evaluation, and documentation of standard work instructions.
• Oversee capital projects, budget development, and cost monitoring.
• Support cross‑functional problem solving, SWAT teams, and labor resource planning.
• Coordinate new product introductions, contract reviews, and engineering change requests.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Lean or APICS certification (Lean Six Sigma, APICS) or comparable continuous‑improvement experience.
• Proven experience leading engineering and maintenance teams in a manufacturing environment.
