About the role

The UBC Sauder School of Business is seeking a Manager to lead development operations and donor engagement. This senior‑level position oversees a portfolio of fundraising initiatives valued at over $5 million, ensuring efficient processes and strong relationships across the university.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day operations of development programs, coordinating activities that support the overall fundraising strategy.
• Integrate operational efforts across all fundraising channels, including major gifts, corporate partnerships, and alumni relations.
• Serve as primary liaison between the Development and Alumni Engagement team and other UBC Sauder units.
• Oversee donor data management, reporting, and compliance to maintain high standards of stewardship.
• Identify and cultivate major gift opportunities in line with the school’s funding priorities.

Required profile

• Proven experience in development, fundraising, or alumni relations within a higher‑education or nonprofit environment.
• Strong operational and project‑management skills with the ability to handle multi‑million‑dollar programs.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to work with internal and external stakeholders.
