Manager, AI & Automation

About the role

Choice Properties is seeking a proactive Manager, AI & Automation to lead the adoption of artificial intelligence and automation solutions across the organization. Reporting to the VP of Technology, you will work within a small, agile AI "SWAT Team" to deliver measurable efficiency gains while maintaining strong governance and security standards.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and prioritize high‑impact AI and automation opportunities across business units.
• Partner with stakeholders to translate workflows into structured AI use cases.
• Source, evaluate, and deploy SaaS AI tools that improve drafting, summarization, document review, search, and workflow efficiency.
• Lead rapid pilots and controlled enterprise rollouts of AI‑enabled solutions.
• Establish ownership, governance, and guardrails for AI usage, aligning with cyber security and data governance standards.
• Develop lightweight AI governance frameworks and track efficiency gains, adoption rates, and business outcomes.
• Provide training, enablement, and support to build AI literacy across business teams.
• Mentor and oversee the Analyst, AI & Automation role and foster a culture of experimentation balanced with accountability.

Required profile

• 5‑7 years of experience in technology, digital transformation, automation, or AI.
• 3‑5 years of senior or people‑leadership experience.
• Post‑secondary education in Technology, Engineering, Business, or equivalent experience.
• Proven track record evaluating and implementing SaaS‑based AI and automation tools in an enterprise environment.
• Demonstrated success delivering rapid, business‑focused AI solutions.
