Machinist – CNC & Precision Manufacturing

About the role

Raymar Mfg. Inc. is seeking a skilled Machinist to join its general manufacturing team in St. Marys, ON. You will work with both conventional and computer‑controlled equipment to produce high‑precision components, ensuring strict adherence to engineering specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts and tables to determine dimensions and tolerances.
• Set up, adjust and operate conventional and CNC machine tools, including lathes, milling machines and drilling presses.
• Measure and lay out work pieces, verify dimensions with micrometers, calipers and other precision instruments.
• Repair, maintain and calibrate machine tools and precision measuring equipment.
• Document and report any deviations from specifications or tolerances.
• Fit and assemble components to close tolerances, handling weights up to 100 lb.

• Ability to work independently and follow detailed procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Physical stamina for standing long periods and repetitive tasks.
• Reliable personal transportation and a valid driver’s licence.
• Dependable, accurate and a quick learner.
