Lounge Host – 1927 Lounge

About the role

The 1927 Lounge Host will be the first point of contact for guests at Rosewood Hotel Georgia’s iconic lounge. You will greet, escort, and seat guests while ensuring a seamless and memorable experience that reflects the hotel’s high standards of service.

Key responsibilities

• Warmly greet and escort guests to their tables, presenting menus and handling special requests.
• Manage the reservation book, prepare floor plans, and coordinate seating for large parties, VIPs, and hotel guests.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of menu items, daily specials, liquor brands, and state liquor regulations.
• Assist the bar and service teams with food and beverage service, clearing, and resetting tables.
• Set up and keep the host station stocked and clean; report any shortages to the supervisor.
• Inspect the lounge environment, menus, and wine lists for cleanliness and accuracy.
• Answer phone inquiries courteously and handle reservation requests efficiently.
• Communicate VIP arrivals and special requests to the appropriate personnel.
