Long Haul Truck Driver – Full‑Time

About the role

We are seeking a reliable long haul truck driver to join Moving Wheels Freight Inc. in Winnipeg. The role involves transporting goods across long distances while ensuring safety and compliance with all regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Load and unload freight at origin and destination points.
• Operate straight‑through or articulated trucks to move goods.
• Conduct pre‑trip, en‑route, and post‑trip vehicle inspections, including tires, lights, brakes, and cold‑storage equipment.
• Monitor and record cargo details, hours of service, distance travelled, and fuel consumption.
• Communicate with central dispatch, relaying information and receiving instructions.

Required profile

• Secondary school graduation certificate.
• Valid Class 1 (or A) driver’s licence.
• Familiarity with driver logbook documentation.
• Experience in long‑haul driving is an asset.
