Logistics Supervisor

About the role

We are seeking a Logistics Supervisor to lead our distribution shift at Bimbo Canada. The role ensures safe, on‑time shipping of bakery products while maintaining high standards of product safety, legality and quality.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day activities on the distribution shift, managing lines and employees.
• Develop and enforce SOPs, GMP and HACCP controls to improve productivity and reduce costs.
• Drive Six Sigma initiatives and measurable cost‑saving projects.
• Ensure on‑time shipments meet customer requirements and provide accurate distribution reporting.
• Lead, coach and develop hourly staff, conduct performance reviews and create development plans.
• Handle collective‑agreement and labour‑relation matters, and support recruitment and onboarding.
• Maintain a strong safety culture, conduct monthly safety meetings and enforce safety procedures.
• Support quality‑control functions within distribution.

Required profile

• Commitment to safety, product safety, regulatory compliance and quality standards.
• Proven ability to manage teams in a fast‑paced distribution environment.
• Experience with labour relations, collective agreements and employee development.
• Strong analytical mindset and focus on continuous improvement.
