Logistics Operations Coordinator

About the role

Abham Freight is looking for a highly organized Logistics Operations Coordinator to oversee the end‑to‑end coordination of customer shipments across North America and international markets. The role involves scheduling, tracking, and executing freight movements while maintaining strong communication with carriers, terminals, and transportation partners.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage shipment bookings with ocean, rail, and road logistics partners.
• Schedule pickups, deliveries, drayage, and intermodal transportation as required.
• Monitor shipment milestones, transit progress, and operational timelines.
• Communicate shipment status and updates to carriers, terminals, warehouses, and transportation providers.
• Maintain accurate shipment data in internal tracking systems and operational spreadsheets.
• Prepare and review booking confirmations, cutoff schedules, and related documents.
• Identify and resolve operational issues, delays, and exceptions before they impact clients.
• Support customs documentation and coordinate container movements, returns, rail schedules, and vessel timelines.
• Collaborate with the Client Operations Coordinator to ensure seamless backend and customer‑facing communication.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
• Minimum 2 years of experience in freight coordination, logistics, or transportation operations.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with a professional demeanor.
• Ability to work proactively in a fast‑paced environment and manage multiple shipments simultaneously.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with TMS or logistics management software.
