Logistics Analyst – Procurement & Cost Optimization

About the role

The Logistics Analyst will support Everison’s procurement and logistics functions by tracking data, analysing costs, coordinating with vendors and driving process improvements to ensure an efficient and cost-effective supply chain.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate procurement activities throughout the purchasing lifecycle.
• Enter, track and maintain procurement and logistics documentation.
• Audit purchase orders for pricing, freight charges, delivery dates and approvals.
• Track, analyse and report freight costs, identifying savings opportunities.
• Resolve order, pricing or shipment discrepancies and manage vendor claims.
• Assist in preparing bid specifications, RFPs and analysing vendor quotes.
• Maintain purchasing logs, vendor records and supplier performance data.
• Support supplier identification and nurture strong vendor relationships.
• Liaise with internal teams and external vendors on purchasing needs and logistics updates.
• Provide reporting and administrative support to logistics leadership.

Required profile

• 1–3 years of experience in logistics, procurement, supply chain or high‑volume administrative environments.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to track costs and improve processes.
• Highly organized, detail‑oriented and able to manage multiple transactions and deadlines.
• Experience in freight costing, procurement records or vendor coordination.
• Effective communication and negotiation skills with suppliers.
• Background in industrial, manufacturing or scrap‑commodity environments is a plus.
