Locum Family Practitioner (General Practitioner) – 2‑Week Assignment

About the role

The Medical Clinic is seeking a qualified Family Practitioner/General Practitioner to cover a short‑term locum assignment from August 20 to September 3 2026. This position offers a flexible, part‑time schedule within a supportive, growing community clinic.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive primary‑care consultations and follow‑up for patients.
• Diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic medical conditions.
• Maintain accurate patient records in the clinic’s electronic system.
• Collaborate with nursing and administrative staff to ensure smooth clinic operations.
• Participate in the clinic’s Alternative Payment Arrangement with a 75/25 billing split.

Required profile

• Current license to practice Family Medicine or General Practice in Canada.
• Availability for the full two‑week period (Aug 20 – Sep 3 2026).
• Willingness to work flexible hours as outlined and adjust schedule in coordination with clinic staff.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work within a team‑oriented environment.
