About the role
This permanent, full‑time position is for a live‑in caregiver who will reside in the employer’s home and provide comprehensive personal care to an adult client. The role includes medication administration, assistance with daily living activities, companionship, and light household support.
Key responsibilities
- Administer bedside and personal care, including bathing, hygiene, and dressing.
- Administer prescribed medications safely and accurately.
- Assist with feeding, meal preparation, and planning therapeutic diets.
- Support regular exercise such as walking and mobility activities.
- Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and mend clothing or linens.
- Provide companionship and emotional support throughout the day.
Required profile
- Punctual, reliable, and dependable.
- Strong client‑focus and patience.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Flexible, organized, and able to exercise good judgement.
- Honest and trustworthy.
