About the role
This permanent, full‑time position provides live‑in support to individuals with disabilities in the employer’s home. The caregiver will assist with daily living activities, promote independence, and ensure a safe, comfortable environment.
Key responsibilities
- Assist with regular exercise and mobility, such as walking.
- Perform personal care tasks, including bathing and dressing.
- Prepare, serve, and cook nutritious meals, and plan therapeutic diets.
- Handle light housekeeping duties, laundry, and mend clothing or linens.
- Shop for food and household supplies.
- Provide companionship and emotional support.
Required profile
- Secondary school graduation or equivalent experience.
- 1 to less than 2 years of caregiving experience.
- Ability to work in a non‑smoking environment.
- Clear criminal record check.
- Availability to start on the posted date and meet language requirements (English or French).
