Kitchen Helper

About the role

We are looking for a reliable Kitchen Helper to join our fast‑paced restaurant environment. You will support the kitchen team by maintaining cleanliness, preparing basic food items, and ensuring take‑out orders are packaged correctly.

Key responsibilities

• Place dishes in the storage area and sanitize them by hand.
• Package take‑out food and stock refrigerators and salad bars.
• Use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice, and trim foodstuffs.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment.
• Handle and store cleaning products safely.
• Remove kitchen garbage and trash.
• Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors.
• Wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruit.

Required profile

• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, physically demanding environment.
• Comfort with repetitive tasks and standing for extended periods.
• Capable of working under pressure and multitasking.
• Client‑focused with efficient interpersonal skills.
• Reliable team player with strong work ethic.
• Willingness to work evening, morning, night, or weekend shifts.
• Previous experience is an asset but not mandatory.
