About the role
We are looking for an experienced cook to join our team at Cozy Winter Cuisine & Bar in Regina. The role involves preparing and cooking a variety of meals in a fast‑paced restaurant environment while ensuring high standards of food safety and quality.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes, including options for customers with food allergies or intolerances.
- Inspect kitchens and food service areas to maintain cleanliness and compliance with health regulations.
- Train staff in food preparation, cooking techniques, and safe handling practices.
- Supervise kitchen staff and helpers, delegating tasks and monitoring performance.
- Maintain inventory records of food, supplies, and equipment, and place orders as needed.
- Clean kitchen and work areas regularly to uphold hygiene standards.
- Manage overall kitchen operations to ensure efficient service flow.
Required profile
- Organized and reliable.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- 2 to less than 3 years of relevant kitchen experience.
