Kitchen Crew – Fast‑Food Team Member

About the role

Join the A&W restaurant team in Merecroft Village as a Kitchen Crew member. You will work in a fast‑paced, supportive environment preparing and cooking menu items while ensuring food‑safety and quality standards are met.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare A&W menu items according to food‑safety and quality guidelines.
• Cook burgers, fries, breakfast items, and other products efficiently.
• Assemble orders accurately during busy periods.
• Keep workstations stocked, organized, and clean.
• Restock fridges, freezers, and ingredient stations.
• Monitor food levels and communicate needs to the team.
• Follow all hygiene, sanitation, and safety practices.
• Clean and sanitize equipment, counters, prep surfaces, and utensils.
• Assist with garbage removal, sweeping, and mopping to maintain a clean kitchen.

Required profile

• Energetic, reliable, and enjoys hands‑on work.
• Proud of doing tasks well and following instructions.
• Comfortable working in a supportive, fast‑paced team.
• Clear communicator who can follow directions.
• Eager to learn new skills and help wherever needed.
• Available 15–40 hours per week.

Required skills

• Food‑safety awareness.
• Basic kitchen equipment operation.
