About the role

The Golden Hills School Division is seeking a part‑time (0.5 FTE) Interim Kindergarten Teacher for Wheatland Crossing School in Wheatland County, Alberta. The appointment runs from August 27 2026 to June 30 2027, with classroom duties scheduled on Tuesdays and Thursdays and alternating Fridays.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver the Alberta Kindergarten curriculum to a diverse group of students.
• Plan, prepare and implement engaging lesson plans.
• Assess student progress and maintain accurate records.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to share best practices.
