About the role
The Wellness Pet Company is seeking a motivated Key Account Manager to drive growth across the Greater Toronto Area and Western Canada. This junior‑level position blends remote work with frequent field visits, allowing you to build strong relationships with strategic pet‑food retailers while supporting the company’s mission of delivering proven nutrition for pets.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing key accounts in GTA and Western Canada.
- Visit accounts three days per week to identify growth opportunities, address barriers, and create strategic in‑store partnerships.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (marketing, customer service, purchasing, operations) to align on account needs.
- Own the sales cycle: forecast business, analyze market drivers, and adjust tactics based on POS data, inventory, and share metrics.
- Execute Canadian marketing strategies and tailor account‑specific programs.
Required profile
- Junior‑level experience in sales or key‑account management, preferably within consumer goods or pet‑care.
- Strong understanding of retail dynamics, inventory management, and sales analytics.
- Ability to travel regularly across the assigned region.
- Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
