Junior Tax Analyst

Key responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation of various Canadian income tax returns (T1, T2, T3) and tax election forms.
• Provide quality, timely, and responsive services to ensure client satisfaction.
• Demonstrate an understanding of increasingly complex tax concepts.
• Discuss moderately complex tax issues with the engagement team and client management.
• Stay informed of current tax developments and apply knowledge to client situations.
• Prepare practical approaches to client tax situations and reach appropriate conclusions.
• Prepare corporate tax returns and share tax planning ideas.
• Participate in achieving team goals and assist in developing recommendations and implementation plans.

Required profile

• Accounting degree (e.g., BBA, BCOMM) or CPA designation.
• Entry‑level technical knowledge and strong attention to detail.
• Interpersonal and relationship‑building skills with a positive, can‑do attitude.
• Creative problem‑solving ability, critical thinking, and strong written and verbal communication.
• Experience delivering quality client service and a general understanding of industry trends.
