Junior Software Developer

About the role

Thrive Health is building an AI‑first digital care coordination platform that connects people, data, and clinicians across the health journey. As a Junior Software Developer you will contribute to both front‑end and back‑end development, helping to scale the platform while working in a fast‑paced start‑up environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop front‑end features using TypeScript, HTML, Lit web components, Tailwind CSS and daisyUI.
• Build back‑end functionality with Python, Django and htmx.
• Work with PostgreSQL databases and infrastructure‑as‑code tools.
• Ensure product quality through automated testing, monitoring, and edge‑case handling.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams during design, development, testing, and release cycles.
• Participate in iteration planning, bug fixing, and deployment of releases.
• Stay up‑to‑date with emerging technologies and propose improvements.

Required profile

• 1+ years of industry or co‑op experience in software development.
• Demonstrated self‑directed learning (side projects, open‑source contributions, etc.).
• Strong attention to detail, especially around correctness and edge cases.
• Comfort operating in an ambiguous, fast‑moving, entrepreneurial environment.
