Junior Software Developer

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Junior Software Developer to join Convverge’s fast‑growing team building business‑level applications on Microsoft Azure, SharePoint and the Power Platform. You will work alongside experienced developers, architects and designers, contributing to real client projects in an Agile environment.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to design, development, testing and support of client solutions.
• Work within an Agile development process, following coding standards and delivery best practices.
• Break down problems into manageable tasks and seek guidance when needed.
• Create and maintain as‑built documentation for client solutions.
• Develop technical support documentation for internal teams and clients.
• Support testing and quality‑assurance activities, documenting issues and validating fixes.
• Develop software components using Microsoft technologies, especially the Power Platform, with mentorship.
• Communicate blockers, risks or delays early to ensure successful project delivery.

Required profile

• Post‑secondary education in Computer Science, Software Development, IT or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 0–2 years of software development experience through internships, co‑ops, academic or personal projects.
• Strong fundamental programming knowledge and willingness to ask thoughtful questions.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team.

Required skills

• C# or JavaScript/TypeScript or Python (at least one).
• Git version control.
• Interest in Microsoft cloud technologies such as Power Platform, Azure, Microsoft 365 and SharePoint.
