Junior Site Supervisor – Construction (Toronto)

About the role

Clearspace is looking for a Junior Site Supervisor to join its Site Operations team in Toronto. This six‑month contract role supports active commercial interior construction projects across downtown Toronto and the GTA, with the goal of growing into a full Site Supervisor position.

Key responsibilities

• Assist Site Supervisors and Project Managers with daily on‑site operations, ensuring projects stay on schedule, within budget, and meet Clearspace standards.
• Coordinate trades, site access, deliveries, deficiencies, inspections, and day‑to‑day site priorities.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, handling site postings, protection, housekeeping, and safety compliance.
• Track site progress, identify early issues, and escalate concerns to the appropriate leadership.
• Support communication with trades, subcontractors, building operations, and internal project teams.
• Perform site inspections, deficiency reviews, quality control checks, and follow‑up actions.
• Prepare for city and building inspections, milestone reviews, and key project events such as construction start, rough‑in, furniture delivery, and substantial performance.
• Use Procore and other construction management tools to log daily activities, upload photos, and document observations.

Required profile

• 1–3 years of experience in construction, project coordination, site coordination, trades, or a related field.
• Experience in commercial interiors, office build‑outs, or hands‑on construction coordination.
• Strong organizational skills and a focus on safety and quality.
• Ability to work collaboratively with supervisors, managers, trades, and building operations teams.
