Junior Interior Designer

About the role

Kasian is looking for a motivated Junior Interior Designer to join its Edmonton studio. You will work alongside senior designers on a variety of community‑focused projects, developing both technical and creative abilities in a collaborative environment.

Key responsibilities

• Support the design studio in daily operations and project delivery.
• Assist with concept development, presentation preparation, and design iterations.
• Produce drawings, 3‑D models, and visualizations using industry‑standard software.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams to deliver high‑quality design solutions.
• Participate in client and internal meetings, contributing ideas and feedback.

Required profile

• Degree in Interior Design.
• 0–4 years of professional experience; co‑op or internship experience is accepted.

Required skills

• Proficiency with AutoCAD.
• Experience using SketchUp.
• Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite.
• Familiarity with visualization tools such as Enscape (asset).
• Basic understanding of Revit (asset).
