Junior HR and Talent Coordinator

About the role

Iversoft is seeking a proactive Junior HR & Talent Coordinator to support our HR and recruitment functions. This position offers exposure to the full employee lifecycle, from sourcing and onboarding to performance management and off‑boarding, while contributing to the integration of AI tools in people operations.

Key responsibilities

• Answer employee HR queries and guide them on policies and processes.
• Assist with onboarding, support new hires during their first months, and manage performance reviews and goal‑setting.
• Prepare termination documentation and ensure compliance with Ontario employment legislation (ESA, OHRC, OHSA, AODA).
• Maintain the HRIS, keep employee records current, and administer engagement surveys.
• Own job postings, candidate sourcing, and recruitment pipelines; collaborate with hiring managers on job descriptions and interview processes.
• Participate in screening, interviewing, and extending offers; promote Iversoft’s employer brand at events and webinars.
• Collect, analyse, and report recruitment metrics; leverage AI tools to enhance sourcing, job‑description drafting, onboarding, and survey analysis.
• Identify opportunities for AI‑powered internal HR tools and document improvements.

Required profile

• 1‑2 years of professional experience in HR, recruitment, or a related field.
• 2 years of experience with technical recruiting.
• Knowledge of Ontario employment law and HR best practices.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.

Required skills

• Experience with an HRIS (Rippling is a plus).
• Experience with an ATS (Workable is a plus).
• Proficiency in using AI tools to improve people operations.
