Junior Environmental Specialist

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical services in a field and office environment.
• Work on assignments across projects of low to high complexity.
• Write reports, proposals and technical specifications.
• Complete analysis of information and prepare reports.

Required profile

• Civil Engineering diploma, preferably with a focus on Environmental and/or Geotechnical Engineering.
• 1‑2 years of related experience in environmental engineering and field investigations (asset).
• Ability to complete Phase One and Phase Two Environmental Site Assessments, Soil and Groundwater Remediation, and Records of Site Condition.
• Strong workplace health and safety practices.
• Flexible, well‑organized and motivated for technical and personal advancement.
• Capability to work with minimal supervision in a fast‑paced environment, with strong report‑writing and verbal communication in English.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs, own a vehicle with appropriate insurance, and hold a valid G‑Level Ontario driver’s licence.
• Willingness to travel and work a combination of field and office duties.
