Junior Data Analyst – Excel, Power BI & MIS Reporting (Banking)

About the role

This position supports a leading financial client by delivering accurate data analysis, reporting, and process improvements. The junior analyst will work closely with business management teams to turn large datasets into actionable insights.

Key responsibilities

• Validate and analyse large datasets to ensure data integrity for decision‑making.
• Develop, maintain and automate MIS reports using Excel, Power BI and other MS Office tools.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to gather requirements, document findings and ensure consistent reporting standards.
• Assist in process improvements and automation of reporting workflows.
• Engage with stakeholders to provide insights and support ongoing business needs.

Required profile

• 2‑3 years of experience in data analysis or reporting.
• Strong analytical, numerical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Attention to detail with a focus on data accuracy and integrity.
• Ability to work with large datasets and learn new tools quickly.
