Junior Analyst, Accounting & Finance

About the role

Join Spark Power as a Junior Analyst in Accounting & Finance and support the finance team with month‑end processes, research, filing and data entry. This entry‑level position offers the chance to develop a solid foundation in accounting while working in a dynamic, safety‑focused environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the finance team with month‑end closing activities.
• Perform research, filing and accurate data entry tasks.
• Compile, track and organize financial data and information.
• Support additional finance and office operations as needed.
• Complete other duties assigned by the finance department.

Required profile

• Post‑secondary education in Accounting, Finance or Commerce.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and organizational abilities.
• Self‑motivated, able to meet deadlines and manage time efficiently.
• High level of integrity and ability to handle confidential information.
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including spreadsheets, formulas and data entry.
