Junior Accounting Analyst

About the role

Adamson Systems Engineering is seeking a detail‑oriented Junior Accounting Analyst to support its finance and operations teams. The role combines solid accounting knowledge with practical data‑analysis experience to ensure accurate financial reporting and inventory management.

Key responsibilities

• Perform monthly account reconciliations and resolve variances promptly.
• Assist in preparing financial statements and supporting schedules.
• Support inventory management, organize and conduct physical inventory counts.
• Reconcile inventory records to the general ledger and investigate discrepancies.
• Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports for finance and operations.
• Support month‑end and year‑end close activities.
• Collaborate with operational and field teams to ensure accurate financial and inventory reporting.
• Identify process‑improvement opportunities using data analytics.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 1–4 years of experience in accounting or finance (entry to intermediate level).
• Strong understanding of general ledger, account reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Practical experience with Power BI and working knowledge of SQL.
• Experience with inventory accounting and physical inventory counts.
• High attention to detail, strong analytical and communication skills.
• Familiarity with the M1 ERP system is an asset.
