Journeyperson Electrician

About the role

Wildstone Construction is seeking a Journeyperson Electrician to join its electrical team supporting water/wastewater, energy, and commercial/institutional projects across British Columbia, the Yukon and the Northwest Territories. The position is fly‑in/fly‑out with 21/7 rotations and 10‑hour shifts.

Key responsibilities

• Install and terminate cable trays, Teck cable, and underground or slab conduit systems.
• Perform building wiring using EMT, rigid, PVC or Teck conduit.
• Install power distribution equipment including switchgear, motor control centers, generators, transformers, VFDs, PLC panels and related instrumentation.
• Wire and terminate PLC, instrumentation and HVAC control circuits following control wiring diagrams and PLC I/O drawings.
• Set up outdoor pad‑mounted switchgear, oil‑filled transformers and containerized equipment.

Required profile

• FSR‑Certified Red Seal Journeyperson Electrician with experience on ICI work sites.
• Ability to work to the Canadian Electrical Code and BC Hydro, Fortis and ATCO standards.
• Valid driver’s licence; trailer‑towing experience is an asset.
• Physical capability to meet the demands of field work.

Required skills

• Cable tray and Teck cable installation.
• Switchgear, MCC and generator installation.
• PLC and instrumentation wiring and termination.
• Proficiency with Procore and Microsoft Office 365.
• Interpretation of cable schedules, control wiring diagrams and PLC I/O drawings.
