Metal Roofer – Skilled Tradesperson

About the role

Flynn Canada Ltd. is seeking an experienced metal roofer to join its construction team in Kelowna. The role involves installing, repairing, and maintaining metal roofing systems across commercial and industrial sites.

Key responsibilities

• Instruct apprentices on roofing techniques and safety practices.
• Apply waterproof coatings to concrete or masonry surfaces both below and above ground level.
• Install and repair metal roofs using hand and power tools.
• Fit and secure sheet metal flashings.
• Operate hoisting and lifting equipment to position roofing materials.

Required profile

• Ability to work at heights in noisy, dusty, outdoor environments.
• Willingness to use artificial intelligence tools where applicable.

Required skills

• Proficiency with hand tools.
• Proficiency with power tools.

• Knowledge of sheet metal flashing installation.
• Ability to apply waterproof coatings.
